Tocmai am mai citit ceva lucruri interesante care ar putea avea conexiune cu exercitiul imaginat de mine.
Un articol interesant legat de niste observatii astronomice aduce in discutie indirect efectul Casimir si conceptul de quantum foam pentru a incerca sa exlice anomaliile observate referitor la viteza luminii.
"In 2005, researchers at the MAGIC gamma-ray telescope on La Palma in the Canary Islands were studying gamma-ray bursts emitted by the black hole in the centre of the Markarian 501 galaxy, half a billion light years away. The burst's high-energy gamma rays arrived at the telescope
4 minutes later than the lower-energy rays.
Both parts of the spectrum should have been emitted at the same time.
The mystery has only deepened with the launch last year of NASA's Fermi gamma-ray space telescope. It has observed high-energy photons arriving up to 20 minutes behind zippier low-energy ones from a source 12 billion light years away. The hope is that Fermi will produce much more data that will enable researchers to rule out more mundane explanations and launch us into the era when we can finally put theories that attempt to unite quantum mechanics and gravity to the test."

a discrepancy which could be explained by the irregularity of quantum foam.[3] More recent experiments were however unable to confirm the supposed variation on the speed of light due to graininess of space.[4]"

densitate creste in vecinatatea corpurilor masive, ceea ce TRG o vede ca si o curbare a spatiului, pe scurt gravitatie. De fapt curbarea spatiului n-ar fi altceva decat un gradient de densitate/frecventa a perechilor virtuale de particule in quantum foam. La cresterea vitezei corpului masiv, nr. de interactiuni cu particulele virtuale creste, ceea ce este in acord cu TRG, masa corpului respectiv crescand corespunzator conform relatiilor lui Einstein.
Prin urmare este necesar sa existe o interactiune intre materia barionica si particulele virtuale din quantum foam. Exista un mecanism prin care perechile virtuale au poate timpul de viata mai lung (decat in absenta corpului masiv), sau au o energie mai ridicata, sau activitatea cuantica este mai intensa (mai multe perechi de particule create)
datorita prezentei corpului masiv.
