Applying Hubble's law to these redshifts, it can be shown that they are between 600 million[9] and 28 billion light-years away (in terms of proper distance). Because of the great distances to the furthest quasars and the finite velocity of light, we see them and their surrounding space as they existed in the very early universe."

N-am tradus ca sa fie exact ca acolo. Linkul e http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quasar.

Dacă te referi la distanţa de 28 de miliarde de a.l., aş zice că luând în calcul şi expansiunea spaţiului, nu e o distanţă imposibilă.

Raza universului vizibil este mai mare decat (varsta universului)*c, datorita expansiunii.
